What is SingRange?
SingRange is a vocal range finder. It listens to your voice through the microphone, detects your lowest and highest comfortable notes in real time, classifies your voice type, and matches you to artists and songs that sit in your range.
Frequently asked questions
The app is not detecting my voice
- Make sure SingRange has microphone permission: open the Settings app, find SingRange, and enable Microphone.
- Sing or hum a steady, clear note. Background noise and very quiet singing make detection harder.
- Hold each note for a moment so the app can lock onto the pitch.
Is my voice recorded?
No. Audio is analyzed live on your device and is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I retake a range test?
Tap Test My Range on the home screen, or Retest Range on your results screen, any time. Your past results are saved under History.
How do I change my voice type or language?
Open Settings from the gear icon. You can switch your voice type (higher or lower range), app language, reference pitch, and note notation there.
My data and resetting the app
All of your results and settings are stored only on your device. Deleting the app removes this data permanently.
